Jump Rope for Heart and Family Fitness Night

We are officially kicking off our Jump Rope for Heart Program on Wednesday, Jan. 31st with an assembly that will focus on health, nutrition, and keeping active.

Jump Rope for Heart is a program that collects donations for the American Heart Association.  Last year Kaechele collected $3,500 for the American Heart Association.  Way to go Coyotes!!!

This year our goal is to try to raise $4,000. For the next few weeks we will be learning about nutrition, heart health, and different types of jump roping in our PE classes.  You will be receiving donation forms in Tuesday orange folders. If your child would like to collect donations, then I strongly encourage you to register online at www.heart.org/jump. They can create their own webpage to collect donations through the website.  Students may also bring in donations in the form of checks made out to the American Heart Association.

We unfortunately will not be able to accept cash donations this year due to the length of the collection process. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and hope that it doesn’t stop you from donating.  We will be combining our Jump Rope for Heart Event with Family Fun and Fitness Night on February 15th from 6:30 – 7:30. Everyone is welcome whether you participated in the program or not. Thanks so much for your support!
